“RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF COORDINATION BETWEEN THE GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION AND COMMUNITY OF SAN YSIDRO REGARDING THE SAN YSIDRO PORT OF ENTRY INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS”
The General Services Administration (GSA) is proceeding with the San Ysidro Port of Entry Infrastructure Improvements rapidly. There have been a number of concerns that the community raised including the possibility of reduced parking and increased traffic congestion. Completion of this project will strengthen the potential economic growth of the region. Therefore it is critical that the City Council take action as soon as possible, via this resolution, to make clear the City’s position that GSA must work with San Ysidro community leaders, businesses and residents, to address the affects of infrastructure improvement.
