San Diego City Councilmember Alvarez Joins Coalition to Fight for Fair Water Rates

What: San Diego City Councilmember joins the Fair Water Rates Coalition in opposing the City of San Diego’s unitary rate proposal for recycled water.  The City’s proposal would overcharge customers of the Otay Water District in East County and South Bay, including Otay Mesa, $7.2 million over five years to subsidize customers of recycled water north of the City, including the City itself.
